Jordan is a chef, writer, food stylist and broadcaster for BBC Radio 4’s The Kitchen Cabinet. He is an award winning author of 5 cookbooks, including Healthy Baking and Our Korean Kitchen, which won both the Fortnum & Mason Food & Drink Award and the Observer Food Monthly Award for best cookbook and cookbook of the year.
He trained at the Ballymaloe Cookery School in his native Ireland, and went on to work for a number of years with the Michelin star chef Skye Gyngell at Petersham Nurseries Restaurant in London.
Jordan is also one of the UK’s leading authorities on Korean food. He learned his craft in Korea from a number of the most respected chefs and food producers in the country and to this day regularly spends several months a year working in Seoul, together with his Korean wife, the fashion designer, Rejina Pyo.
Jordan is one of the main panelists on BBC Radio 4’s ‘The Kitchen Cabinet’, and regularly appears on ‘Saturday Kitchen’ BBC1, as well as ‘Sunday Brunch’ Channel 4 and a number of other radio and TV shows, both in the UK and Ireland.
He regularly collaborates with brands as an ambassador, developing recipes and presenting food content for them – including Marks & Spencer, Tesco and Rangemaster.
His recipes, food writing and food styling have featured in all the major national UK publications including Observer Food monthly, The Guardian, The Times, The Sunday Times, British Vogue, Elle, Delicious, BBC Good Food, Waitrose Kitchen and Food & Travel.
